I was reading Camilla Gibb's book "Sweetness In The Belly" and it ocurred to me that every ethnic group of people, whether they be white or black, or yellow skinned, they will always have suspiscous and haughty feelings towards "foreigners", in other words, people of different colours and different religious backrounds. Whites accuse the blacks and the Arabic; and the Arabic world accuse the whites, especially the US. Overlooking the limitaions of the US diplomatic policies, I feel that there is a cultural aspect which has caused such ethnic stereotypes. It is a sense of mistrust between different people. Different peoples interpret eachother's actions and beliefs differently, which often leads to misunderstanding. I guess this is all part of human nature.
